Gestionnaire sénior Ressources Humaines - Viau


Relevant du Président des Aliments Viau, le(la) Responsable voit aux activités en ressources humaines de deux usines situées à Laval et Montréal. Le titulaire travaille en étroite collaboration avec les opérations afin de définir et mettre en œuvre une stratégie pour le personnel, soutient la mise en œuvre d’initiatives inter-entreprises tout en fournissant un coaching et un soutien continus au personnel RH des deux usines. Le(la) Responsable des ressources humaines s’assure que la planification et les résultats des ressources humaines (Gestion de la Performance, Recrutement, Reconnaissance, Formation et Développement, Engagement et Communication) sont alignés pour répondre aux besoins de l’entreprise et des opérations des deux usines.

Un aperçu de certaines des choses passionnantes que vous dirigerez et ferez :

  •  Superviser les activités liées aux ressources humaines et aux relations avec les employés au sein des usines, notamment en assurant la mise en œuvre efficace des ressources humaines, le respect des exigences législatives et des politiques de l’entreprise, et un coaching quotidien sur les questions de RH et de relations avec les employés.
  •  Encadrer et conseiller les RH aux deux usines, dans le but de soutenir les opérations, de favoriser l’appropriation des résultats commerciaux par le biais d’activités liées aux personnes et de développer de solides professionnels des RH.
  •  Responsable de la mise en œuvre des initiatives corporatives des Aliments Maple Leaf lors de leur adoption chez les Aliments Viau.
  •  Soutenir l’élaboration d’un plan annuel de ressources humaines pour chaque installation qui s’aligne sur les objectifs commerciaux des usines, et surveiller le suivi de ces initiatives identifiées.
  • Partager les meilleures pratiques à travers le réseau d’usines et promouvoir la standardisation des procédures RH d’importance.
  • Diriger et fournir des conseils sur des projets spéciaux.

Formation-Habiletés et expérience requise :
  • 8 ans et plus d’expérience professionnelle en Ressources  humaines et Relations avec les employés.
  • Baccalauréat en Ressources humaines, Gestion des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe (ou expérience de travail équivalente).
  • Expérience dans le milieu manufacturier.
  • Professionnel(le) des ressources humaines qui a su développer une solide expérience en tant que Généraliste et reconnu(e) pour son leadership en Gestion du changement.
  • Passionné par le coaching, le mentorat et le développement des personnes pour atteindre des postes à plus grande responsabilité.
  • Démontrer un grand sens des affaires et des opérations, en particulier dans le secteur de la fabrication et/ou de la transformation alimentaire.
  • Initiative, dynamisme et leadership démontrés.
  • Excellentes habiletés en communication.
  • Orienté sur les résultats, capable de travailler au sein d’une équipe de gestion. Excellentes habiletés démontrées en planification, compétences organisationnelles et capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités.
  • Solides compétences en résolution de problèmes, en communication et en relations interpersonnelles.
  • Capacité à prendre des décisions et juger de questions sensibles et confidentielles dans des conditions stressantes.

The Opportunity

 Reporting to the President of Viau, the People Leader oversees Human Resources activities at two manufacturing locations; Laval and Montreal. The incumbent partners closely with Operations to set and implement a manufacturing people strategy, support implementation of cross-company initiatives while providing ongoing coaching and support to HR at the two plants. The People Leader has the direct accountability for ensuring that the Human Resources planning and results (Performance Management, Recruitment, Recognition, Training and Development, Engagement and Communication) are aligned to meet the Plant and Viau operations and business needs. 

A snapshot of some of the exciting things you will lead and do: 

  • Oversee Human Resources and Employee Relations activities within the plants including ensuring effective delivery of human resources, compliance with legislative requirements and Company policies, and daily coaching on HR, employee relations issues.
  • Coach and provide counsel to HR at the two plant locations, with the goal to support plant operations, drive ownership for business results through people related activities, and develop strong HR professionals.
  • Champion the implementation of MLF Corporate initiatives where they are being adopted at Viau.
  • Support development of annual human resources plan for each facility that align to the plant’s business goals, and monitor follow through on those identified initiatives.
  • Share best practices across the plant network and promote standardization of core HR procedures.
  • Lead and provide counsel on special projects as requested.

What you will bring:

  • 8+ years working experience in Human Resources and Employee Relations.
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • A well-developed HR Professional with a solid Generalist and Change Management background.
  • Passionate about coaching, mentoring and developing people to achieve positions of greater responsibility.
  • Strong business and operational acumen particularly within manufacturing and/or food processing.
  • Demonstrated initiative, drive and leadership; excellent communication skills.
  • Results orientated, able to work as part of a functional team. Excellent planning, organizational skills and possess the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to make procedural decisions and judgments involving sensitive and confidential issues under stressful conditions.
